Things have all become too much for DCI Jack Farley. In need of a place to convalesce, he books into Waverley Abbey, a sanatorium cum hotel, for the overly anxious. Sadly, there will be no rest here.

When celebrated a mystic, Mary Shelley, comes to stay, she is followed by a plethora of acolytes all eager to see what the next world holds. When Mary is found dead in the grounds of the dilapidated Abbey, DCI Farley is called into action once more.
